Sometimes me and a book just don't get along. And it isn't the book, really baby, I swear, it's me! The writing is solid, there are no glaring errors -- nothing to complain about except that I didn't like it.
And sometimes, I get these books for free to review. And then I just feel bad for them. They aren't bad 
books, and they don't deserve me.
Then I thought, What if one of my readers deserves them?
So, I'd like to offer The Quickening
a second chance. Maybe it isn't my kind of book, but might it be yours? Would you like to give it a shot and maybe a review?
Then drop me a line here in the comments with some way to contact you and my gently used ARC may be yours. Drawing will occur on August 10th. (US only, please because I am poor.)
